As an alternative to bed and breakfast, Alistair has designed and built our unique timber-framed eco microlodges for a self-catering /glamping option.

Constructed from sustainable, local timber which has been milled onsite with our own sawmill, the microlodges are small, sturdy cabins set within a wild meadow next to our house.

Designed to be comfortable  and practical, each microlodge can accommodate up to 3 people.

Microlodge 1 (Sun) has 1 uk king-sized bed + a fold down sofa bed.

Microlodges 2 (Rose) and 3 (Celt) have 2 single beds + a fold down sofa bed

Each contains:

• A mini kitchen with hob, microwave, fridge + sink
• en-suite shower/toilet facilities
• heating
• Towels and bedding.

Each microlodge has a deck and a small area outside with a BBQ and chimenea where guests can sit and enjoy the evening after a long day exploring the nearby Glens. With their own heating and excellent insulation, we can let them out year round.

Parking is available alongside.

Pets are welcome for a supplement.

There is a well-stocked village shop which operates as a bar  5 minutes walk away and a cafe down at the local campsite.
