As an alternative to staying in the house we offer the option of self catering in our sustainable timber framed Microlodges.
Designed and handcrafted by Alistair, each microlodge is built using locally sourced timber and finished with a traditional turf roof. Thanks to excellent insulation and efficient heating, the lodges are cosy and comfortable all year round.
They are ideal for glamping, with proper beds, a mini kitchen with fridge, hob and microwave and an ensuite shower and toilet. Bed linen and towels are provided. Each Microlodge has its own a decking overlooking a wild meadow and in front you’ll find a small, grassy BBQ area complete with chiminea. The village shop- open in the evening to serve drinks and food – is a 5 minute walk away. It’s great base from which to explore the nearby National Nature reserve of Glen Affric.
